With 24 years recruitment experience, 10 years independently, makes me a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals with a purpose to help others in need.
Caring for others is what I do best, with a talent to listen. I enjoy talking to people, exploring and sharing ideas, supporting their journey to leverage them as a person or helping their company or organisation.
My authenticity, composure and calmness reflects how we work as a company. This was embedded into me whilst playing Netball and Basketball for England knowing the importance of being who I am, being the best I can be, helping others achieve their goals, whilst having the mind-set and drive to achieve mine too.
I have two children whom I am very proud of, being a single parent after losing my husband in November 2018, makes me more driven to inspire them, alongside friends and family too. Charity fundraising is really important to me especially for specific organisations close to my heart that need funding to continue their good work. In 2018 friends, friends of friends, colleagues and family helped us, raise £9,593.35 for the Brain Tumour Research, Brainstrust, Cancer Research UK and St Michaels Hospice in Basingstoke.
“Giving back to the community is our focus in 2019, sharing how we can help one another in such testing times. Business doesn’t have to be difficult, we just need to be creative and this is where I can add value to more people irrespective of who they are. We all have the same challenges personally but its knowing who can help, when you most need it.”
Likes: Spending time with family and friends, going to the gym or running outside, mindfulness and being with positive authentic people, also deep conversations (not everyone does, but I can get people to talk remember!).
Dislikes: The news (it’s depressing!!), TV Soaps (very depressing!!), not really knowing which direction I’m going in (work and life), rudeness, dishonesty and people that aren’t grateful.
Favourite Food: mmmm…Mexican and Chinese especially hot and sour soup!
Favourite Movie: Sliding Doors (Fate takes its course – told you I was a deep person!))
