Poor Mental Health at Work!
A new study published in 2015 shows the recruiting ‘black-hole’. This is the space where recruiters and job seekers have difficulty in finding each other. This can be due to a simple issue like a lack of web presence or ability to find the right jobseekers on the behalf of the recruiters or:
- Setting unrealistic qualification levels as essential,
- A lack of human decision making in the process – all software driven
- CV’s not being read properly
- The fact that 70% of available positions go unadvertised
- The recruiter not connecting with or not maintaining contact with job seekers
- Tedious form filling puts off good candidates
