CIPD – Week 3 and 4

Within the past 2 weeks, we have looked at KPIs and why they are important for companies to have. We also looked at the impact that globalisation has had on Industry in the UK and how this impacts on the HR function.

Last week we looked at SWOT and PESTLE analysis and did our own based on a scenario given to us. These are very useful tools when reviewing a business and help to devise a strategy for moving forward. Porters 5 forces are also very interesting and provide an alternative way of strategising.
